Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Sunrisers Hyderabad first up, with Devdutt Padikkal hitting 56 in a total of 163/5. In reply, Yuzvendra Chahal’s 3-18 helped limit Sunrisers Hyderabad to 153 all out.
Kings XI Punjab, meanwhile, recovered well thanks to Mayank Agarwal’s 89 from 60 balls to post 157/8 and tie with Delhi Capitals. Mohammed Shami had earlier taken 3-15 with the ball for them too. They lost in the super over, however.
